835 W. Main is one of the earliest residences designed by Fritz Benedict. Located above Castle Creek, the home showcases Benedict’s emphasis on horizontality and volumetric spaces with mitered windows and deep overhangs. Natural materials including logs and stone chimney were used in keeping with Benedict’s Wrightian training.
