At the base of Shadow Mountain, a Wrightian structure of warm wood siding, expansive prow-like roof, overhanging eaves, expanse of glass, and tiled fireplace was built on 322 W. Hyman Avenue in 1953. The four-family abode, or quadraplex, signaled another audience for modern housing in Aspen—skiers.
